Ok. I have 2003 PCM from a Ford Ranger 4.0 and I also have a 2001 Ford Explorer 4.0 motor wiring harness.
I have rewire the 2001 wiring harness to the 2003 PCM. The trouble am having is one wire to the PCM it is

Then it runs to the C110 black plug to the motor wiring harness to.

But the 2001 Ford Explorer wiring harness don’t have that wire and the C110 Plug for the motor wiring harness.
Don’t have that wire. So does have this instead.

And I have C102a or b plug to the Generator

2000 and 2001 explorers should both have that wire
Not clear what you are asking

I'm working with a 2003 pcm to a 2001 wiring harness. the 2003 pcm call for a wire that the 2001 wiring harness does not have.

Then ignore it, it is simply a feed to the instrument cluster for the "check fuel cap" light
basically if the computer sees the fuel tank pressure is not where it is expecting it to be the PCM will tell you to check your fuel tank cap..........

Is this the ONLY wire the 2003 PCM is expecting that does not exist?

Why are you putting a 03 PCM into a 01 truck?
