Performance Lighting

Aftermarket lighting. Driving lights, fog lights, rock lights, HID, halogen. Make your Ford Explorer light up the night!!
Anybody have the Explorers decked out with lights? I mean anything, rotators, flashing LED's, solid burn halogen LED or such? I've got a Federal Signal StreetHawk that I did a mod with the alley lights on to face the front instead of the sides on the Bluesmobile, now I've got better coverage. An 80's bar on a 2010 Explorer and I love it. Still trying to pick up a par of halogen KC Daylighters since I do a lot of night photography of stuff around my area. The amber stuff is for random use. I've got a pair of LED's in the back window also.
Ok so I have an 01 Explorer sport that did NOT come with factory fog lights. I bought some fog lights that I'd like to install, and I have already cut the holes out where the factory lights would have been mounted. The problem is figuring out how to mount these new ones. Does anybody have any suggestions? Here is the factory fog lights with 3 mounting arms: And these are almost the exact ones I'd like to install: Any ideas on how to mount these? Thanks in advance for any tips and advice.
Hey everybody.... I have a 2015 Explorer Sport w/halogen. I want to eventually get all lighting upgraded but figured to start small. I bought LED turn signals (3457 & 7440). And of course when I do a straight swap, I get the hyperflash thing. I don't want to use resistors because of the heat issue. I have heard that you can put in an LED flasher relay. I found it in the fuse block in the engine compartment. Has anyone tried this? I see others doing this on older vehicles but not sure if the new electric systems would accept this. I know I can get LEDs with built in resistors but they are pricey. Just wanted to save a few $$ if I can. Any ideas? Thanks.....
Hey All, I'm a Volunteer EMT and want to install Mirror LEDs Like these http://www.whelen.com/images/_automotive/Lightheads/Mirror-Mounted-Super-LED/mbdc11jj.jpg but not sure if the mirrors changed at all from the 2003 (My Explorer) to the current model Explorers. If not then I'll be getting these bad boys but if they did change I'll have to find another way to mount LEDs on the mirror. I've also been looking at these https://www.soundoffsignal.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/11_0.jpg Any Thoughts?
Hey, I have a 2011 ford explorer limited and the 194bulbs on the front of the side not the 3157 turn signals on the front. I was putting in 3157 led's and they work but the sider lights wont light up. Tested the sockets to see if they;re getting electricity and they;re not. The bulb socket wire's are brand new aswell but they were replaced after i tried doing the led switch and they just stopped working. Could it be a fuse or a short somewhere?
Hey, so i have a 2011 ford explorer limited with the side view mirrors that are power/turn signal and pot light. I have the connector visible ontop of the door panel in the left top corner for the passanger side(Thats where i'm doing this) i need a wiring diagram or the plug diagram or something so i would know which cable to tap into so i could have power for my rear aftermarket pot light led bars(under the door) I've fitted them, spliced the cabled and extended them so they reach but i dont know which cable to solder it to/clip it to. or if anyone knows anywhere else to plug them in so when the pot lights turn on the rear led's turn on.(only when opening door/turning on the potlights)

I live on the coast so fog is a constant issue. On my '05 Sport Trac I had PIAA 5 inch fogs on their own harness and their own switch stuck on to the dash. For my 13 XLT I want to add some lower profile rectangular fogs in front but would like to wire them up to come on when I activate the built in fog lights. Can this be done using the harness that comes with PIAAs (usually a power line, a relay, and a switch) or has anyone done this? I'd like to avoid additional buttons stuck on my dash.
