Solid Axle Swap Registry

If you have completed a solid axle swap on your Explorer and would like to share the results with others this is the place to do it:D This isn't the place to talk about a work in progress, rather a place for the FINAL results, specs, instructions etc
So I had a EB D44/9" combo and some 33" Super Swamper LTB's, but then my friend had these axles for sale. Now I have a D60 and a D70. The 60 is low pinion, but is king pin. Gears ar 4.10's for now, 5.13's are in the future. Rear D70 has Discs added. Tires are 36x13.5x16 Iroks Front springs are 6.5" BC Bronco coils. Using modified late '70's F150 buckets. Rear is spring over with a 1" 0 rate. I will add some shackles to level it out soon. Here is a pic: In that pic one side is still on a jackstand and higher than with the tire, so the front is actually a bit lower now. I will get more pictures later, but I have beenbusy working on it! Here is a before pic:
*** STARTED OFF BONE STOCK 1996 Ranger, 2.3L 4 Banger with 5spd for $600 with clean title... The plans were to build a cheap mud bog truck to compete in 4 and 6 cylinder classes. *** So we added a 3" body lift and 4" Superlift Kit, no cats, 40 series flowmaster, air intake and 33x10.50x15 Boggers on 15x8 steels *** So we ran last 2 mud bogs of season and at last one I destroyed both front axles in the dana 28, and we relized for the next season we needed a dana 35, gears and bigger tires and for some reason a roll cage. *** Then for this season we added the Dana 35 with locker in front and 513's and a 8.8 welded rear with 513's on 36" tsls *** Now currently we...

So I haven't officially made a thread on my lifted explorer build. It would have been easier to track from the beggining but I just didn't get around to posting. Iv had this 94 explorer since late 2013 when I picked it up for $700 bone stock. I used to have an 85 bronco 2 that I had chopped the top on and loved how well it wheeled and performed but it wasn't big enough and had tons of issues. So the explorer fit me much better. It's a 5 speed with when I got it 228,000 miles. Now it has around 236,000 miles. Has a light lifter knock when the oil is dirty but runs really darn good tho. I started with some TTB lift at a 3" and 33s. I had found a long arm kit in the junkyard on a bronco 2 and used that lift first. I ended up getting some...
I have officially finished the SAS and have driven it to and from work a few times successfully with no real problems, so I will consider this stage complete. The link to the build is in my...
ok,i just bought this, its technically a 92 frame, with a 97 body on it,i just trailered it home sunday. i havent had much time to go over it,but the few things i do know...it needs a better front axle. the entire drivetrains from a 67/68 bronco d30 front/9inch rear/302 and c4 trans with a dana20 i beleive tcase, its a cast iron case, very very closely resembles a NP205. it needs ALOT of work, but i got a pretty good deal on it,i paid 700 for it as you see in the pics. it also needs new springs all around, mainly, the front leaves are 6 inch {rear} ranger lift leafs.and they sagged quite a bit under the weight of the 302,and the rear is SOA conversion with i beleive 4 inch lift leafs, and 4 inch blocks,id prefer to just get taller...
