i pulled my carpet to clean it today. so i decided to pull up the tranny access panel to see if i could find any lost bolts to the bolt gremlin.
i noticed a tube attached to a bracket right under the panel with what looks like a trim panel push pin capping it off. and i jiggled the line and it was loose.i looked in the general area where it leads to and saw a nipple for a hose right there. no idea if its the tranny or the transfer case, its 3" back from the panel opening on the drivers side.
i plugged in into the nipple and left the cap on. is that correct? or what needs to be done?

i can take a pic if needed to further help describe it

edit: pic for anyone that needs to know the same thing:

already had lunch :p

yay! lol. makes sense, but it just looks so out of place. looks just like a trim push pin with the spines to hold it in

That is how mine is, the one for the transfer case. The ones on the differentials are different, however.
