Debating on if I am going to go with 31 inch tires or 32 inch but I want to see the comparison on them. If you have pics let me know

2" torsion twist and shackles

Yes, but the 33's wouldn't fit with a stock bumper, nor without the fender trim. ;)

You really need about 3-4" lift to clear 33's well.

31's will fit some trucks with no lift. It depends on the truck, and which spring rate it is equipped with.

lots of people run this setup as you can see.

here's my original setup. 2" suspension lift with 33x10.5 and stock wheels. this setup worked well with the narrow 10.5" width. they only rubbed the rearward side of the splash guards at full steering lock. this could be prevented if you cut a square out of the splash guard at the area where they rub. i never rubbed the body at all with these tires, but it's not like i was doing any serious rock crawling, just beach and trail riding. i'd choose 33x10.5 over 32x11.5 with only a 2" lift.

this is when i went down to more appropriate sized tires for a 2" lift. 31x10.5 and stock wheels. this is how my truck looks currently. i want to go back to 33's, but not until i put a taller lift on my truck. not rubbing is awesome.

I'm currently lifting a 2002 with torsion and 3 inch bl with 33s to go under it. I will post pics as soon as it's done can't wait to wheel it

Where did you get your 2inch lift? Or if it's "custom" what did you do to lift it 2 inches

Looks good

You’ll need a body lift or the 33s will rub very badly. Also, I wouldn’t expect a response from someone who posted 4 years ago. Oddly enough, I’ve seen that Explorer in person, I believe.
