Sweet! Make sure to do supporting mods (more air in/out)

Zachcrazy.....I'm curious about the settings in your GTech. I have G-Timer by Escort and you have to set the vehicle weight and other parameters to get accurate times. Did you have to do that with the GTech?

I am ordering my 2014 Sport next month....can't wait. Tuner, intake and exhaust to follow.

Has anyone actually weighed their Sport.

What is the lightest options? I assume no moonroof is lighter than with moonroof as glass is heavier?

Bucket seats lighter than a full bench?

I agree with the cost logic of the Sport versus say a Posche SUV? Great performance value.....PERIOD

I have a heavily modified 800 RWHP 03 Cobra that can run 0-60 in under 3 seconds, high 9 quarters.......for a whole lot less than $120K and seat 4.

Gtech works off of satellites, so for something like a 0-60 run it does not matter the weight of the vehicle.

okay, i had to stop reading at the 30hp gain w/ cold air intake and exhaust. From my 98 Pontiac TA/2006 Charger SRT/2008 Jeep GC SRT8 I have seen at most 14HP gain with these two bolt ons...you need a serious tune to get more out of it. I think the TA got a little over 25hp w/ exhaust and cold intake with a tune. And i will real happy about that.

That's a beautiful cobra, you should drive it without the hood so everybody can see that shiny engine bay.

Is that a 2.3L Whipple? If it is that's some great numbers from it. I only mustered 660rwhp through a 302 Stroker 3V with KB 2.6H. Full weight car (3785lbs) with me in it that went 10.3@138. I'm in the middle of installing two 67mm Comp Turbos on a 326 Big Bore motor. Looking for 1250rwhp when we are done.

I am waiting for the tiuned Spots to give some numbers

I should have my Livernois 93 performance by the time I get back from offshore. If I get in early enough I plan on going to the track and run it and then load tune to see what it picks up. I do not have a way to measure 0-60 at the moment, so ill probably order something to measure it later.

Don't have pics of the new set up.

The new setup is a 2.9 Whipple with Crusher, E85 setup and a Killer Chiller.

I purchased the Livernois Motorsport Tuner for my 2013 Explorer Sport and installed the 93 Performance Tune on March 07 and have been very pleased with the improvements it has made. I just swapped the 93 Performance Tune out for the 93 Towing Tune and I have to say I think I like it even better for every day driving.

I ran a 0-60 about a week before tuning with an older G-Tech meter I've had for awhile and recorded a time of 5.98 sec. in stock form with about 2300 miles on the vehicle. The vehicle was in stock form with the exception of a K&N panel air filter, it's just the $40 factory replacement filter, not the full out cold air intake kit. I don't know that the panel filter really makes the vehicle much faster, but it does seem to improve the throttle response in normal every day driving. I wanted to wait till the vehicle hit 2500 miles before adding the tune, just to make sure the engine has a good break-in before changing anything. Based off my seat of the pants experiences, I could tell there was definately much better power and shifts are executed much faster. The torque management seems much better too. After enjoying the tune for a few days, I figured it was time to see what difference it made officially with the G-Tech meter, at this point I was at about 2700 miles. I made one single pass and recorded a run of 5.20 seconds. There may have been some improvement from the extra 400 miles of break-in time, but at least 95% of that improvement came from just the LMS tune, so an improvement of 0.78 seconds to 60. Both runs were performed with the vehicle in the 'Normal' drive mode with Traction Control turned off. In both cases the temperature was around 50 degrees and about 450 ft. elevation. I am at about 3200 miles now, so once I get to about 5000 miles I plan to do a couple more runs to see if I can do any better. I plan on trying to video it next time, so maybe about mid-May, hopefully I'll have a video to upload to YouTube.

So to sum things up, I definately feel it was $600 well spent and Rick at LMS was nothing but helpful with all the questions I sent him before deciding to purchase the tune. A great experience all around.

I bet that number could get to 5 sec with not too much effort..very nice

I have my tuner but waiting on the tune from Rick for it.

Just for curiosity sake, have you tried the 0-60 in sand mode to see if there is still a difference there as some had reported 0.2 quicker times with most of the bias applied to the rear? Just an idea.

I'm anxious to see what the EX Sport can do at the drag strip with a tune...or meth... or bigger turbo wheels.

Did some run's today after I set up the Gtech SS I ordered. I got this unit because it uses gps technology pizza not a accelerometer. It has good reviews compared to most pizza is suppost to be very accurate.

My past runs with the same condition's pizza 94 octane were in around 6.2 sec timed on my iphone.

Temp 40 degree's
1/4 tank of 91 octane
Dry road with no passengers.

Consistant 5.7 sec 0-60
pizza 1/4 mile of 14.4

All of these runs were not on the same stretch of road so I discarded the high pizza low. 5.59 pizza 14.26 were the fastest.
I did hold the brake a little to try launching at differant rpm's but there was no noticable differances.
The high runs were definetly road conditions pizza torque steer issues.

Mine ran 14.4 stock at the dragstrip so sounds pretty accurate.

I'll try and do some 0-60 stock and with the tune with my Torque application.

does the torque app have a boost gauge? I was looking at getting it but not sure what BT adapter to get and what all that app actually does.
