Console Changer

I've got a 2000 with a 6cd changer in the console. Is it honestly worth anything in this day of digital media?

Is it difficult to remove? I haven't poked much in the console, but I'm hoping not. I wouldn't mind the extra space.

Its not hard to remove, its easy peasy, get it out?

My wife is old school and her 6 disc changer has went kaput. I went in the CD changer to investigate and clean it, but It has a broken cog wheel inside. Of course I cant find that part and CD changers are really a thing of the past.

Anyway, I see you may have one available. Would it be a 6 disc changer or single? and is it available by chance?

PS I have a 2006 explorer eddie bauer V8, the radio I have is the factory 6 disc changer with subwoofer.
