How many miles do YOU have...

Tryin to decide if my 94 xlt explorer is worth upgrading. Got 260k miles, bone stock, but she runs mint. Just replaced the following:

• EGR valve replaced
• EGR tube replaced
• DPFE sensor replaced
• Spark plugs replaced
• Plug wires replaced
• Ignition coil replaced
• Checked the cats (clean)
• Fuel filter replaced
• Fuel pump replaced

But the 260k is making it a difficult decision.

So, back to the main idea... how many miles do you have? How long do they last?

They last as long as the rust doesn't destroy them or until you are sick of maintaining them. I know of several with 350,000+ miles.

Just rolled over 334k this morning. Original engine. 2nd trans and it still runs excellent.

On a first gen, the weakest point is the auto transmission. Once rebuilt that vehicle will run until we stop using fossil fuels.

Yeah, I’m at about 350,000 on my 4.0 Ranger.
