If a rear wheel was properly powered, it should drive the truck just fine. Sounds like a slipping transmission to me.

As for the lights, do you mean every single light? It didn’t stall, did it?

Can you please tell us the make, model, year, and engine of your vehicle? Is it an automatic or manual transmission? Is it 2WD or 4WD. I don’t see how anyone can help you without this basic info.

If the rear wheel is spinning and you are not moving, this sounds like a simple loss of traction. Is it slipping on dirt, mud, gravel, pavement etc? For the front wheels to move under power you need have an AWD/Auto 4WD.

You say that when you step on the gas ‘it’s just reving up”.... is the tire still spinning?

As far as the dash lights, are you talking about all the warning lights, or just certain ones? Is the Check Engine Light on?

You said earlier that the rear wheel was spinning... is that still happening?

Is the check engine light on now?

Does the move in reverse? Does it move in 4L?

its driving normal now, but when its acting out it wont drive in reverse either

Does the OD off light ever flash?

A major ABS fault can cause "Forced Engine Idle". If that fault is a temporary issue, it could explain why "........when it happens......". Need codes. Badly. imp

It could be the front bearing going bad and cause the abs sensor to not read properly. Mine did that in traffic and wont move until I removed the abs fuse

it could be did your traction light came on also, mines came on and once i pump the brakes it will free up a little for me to drive and ill have to keep tapping the brakes to keep it going
