All four windows in my '04 stick halfway - it is usually going down but sometimes going up. Driver's window is the worst - I can clearly see it go crooked and then jam up. It will then move with a hand assist and some effort.

Would this be a worn-out regulator, or has the window partially come out of its seat, or....?

Thanks.

It could be

Try this first get a can of crc heavy duty silicone spray $5
Spray the tracks
Work it in by going up and down several times

This is a common problem with lots of makes and models

The auto parts store sells a dry lube spray for lubricating the side glass guides. It's not messy, but it's a thin substance so don't expect it to be a permanent repair. The windows on my van are like this, and have been like this for years.

+1 on the silicone spray

Silicone spray fixed mine a couple of months ago.

Thanks everybody. I did try Vaseline, but it's not slick enough apparently. I'll try the spray as suggested.
