Here is "The Eye of the Needle" on the Piedra. Class 5 that day it sways from upper Class 4 to Class 5. Pretty intense! This was last Spring.

That is insane! I thought class 5 was unraftable?

Not in the Shadillack! That is the name of the raft. It isn't even a self bialer, we had two 5 gallon buckets to bail out the water. Class 6 (or 5+) is supposedly unraftable, that would be a 10+ foot waterfall about. They rate this Class 5 because it is hit or miss. If you get to the left you'll flip and get recirculated. If you hit the boulder you'll flip and get recirc. That same weekend 3 differrent trips flipped and suffered great damage to oars and people. We miracusouly made it unscathed. The boat is only a 13' Avon from the 70's..Named after my buddy Shad... It is a sweet ride.
