Daily driver. 168k mi Fixing, modifying and looking for better options....zippy awd 4.0sohc type-e 4door all Black. sunroof motor stuck (manually cranked closed then stripped out the hole). Would love bigger wheels, wider stance, snow camo, grill guard and light bar. But is this the right truck?... i was looking for a v6 ranger and got a deal on this. it took a year to find all the problems that made it slow, fixed those (removed cats and new valve cover gaskets and thermostat housing. removed squirrel nest. new pulleys, wiring, intake gaskets, shocks, plugs, battery, Specter cold air intake filter.) i work at adv.auto part-time so i get a few discounts and opinions. (like buy a chevy) but im willing to share my experiences fixing this truck and hear new stories. this truck was a junker gifted to me by my pops after my prestine 80k mi 04 santa fe v6 w nos hood scoop and vynil body wrap was wrecked into by uninsured driver (assface on phone) who i sued but cant/wont pay. Im trying to have a hunting/ "bug-out" 4x4.............. really i want a 2 door tahoe k1500 i think, but beggars cant be choosers...so ford it is.. i never had a loan, never will.
