I have been following your problem with much amusment. I just got this EMAIL from a bud and thought it might help you out............

Bounce this around!
Great Tip....Who woulda thought?

The US Postal service sent out a message to all letter carriers to put a
sheet of Bounce in their uniform pockets to keep yellow jackets away. The
yellow jackets just veer around you. And all this time you've! just been
putting Bounce in the dryer!

It will chase ants away when you lay a sheet near them.

It also repels mice. Spread them around foundation areas, or in trailers,
cars that are sitting and it keeps mice from entering your vehicle.

It takes the odor out of books and photo albums that don't get opened too
often.

Repels mosquitoes. Tie a sheet of Bounce through a belt loop when outdoors
during mosquito season.

Eliminates static electricity from your television (or computer) screen.
Since Bounce is designed to help eliminate static cling, wipe your
television screen with a used sheet of Bounce to keep dust from resettling.

Dissol ve soap scum from shower doors. Clean with a sheet of Bounce.

Freshen the air in your home. Place an individual sheet of Bounce in a
drawer or hang in the closet.

Put Bounce sheet in vacuum cleaner.

Prevent thread from tangling. Run a threaded needle through sheet of Bounce
before beginning to sew.

Prevent musty suitcases. Place an individual sheet of Bounce inside empty
luggage before storing.

Freshen the air in your car. Place a sheet of Bounce under t he front seat.

Clean baked-on foods from a cooking pan. Put a sheet in a pan, fill with
water, let sit overnight, and sponge clean. The antistatic agent apparently
weakens the bond between the food.

Eliminate odors in wastebaskets.. Place a sheet of Bounce at the bottom of
the wastebasket.

Collect cat hair. Rubbing the area with a sheet of Bounce will magnetically
attract all the loose hairs.

Eliminate static electricity from Venetian blinds. Wipe the blinds with a
sheet of Bounce to prevent dust from resettling.

Wipe up sawdust from drilling or sand papering. A used sheet of Bounce will
collect sawdust like a tack cloth.

Eliminate odors in dirty laundry. Place an individual sheet of Bounce at the
bottom of a laundry bag or hamper.

Deodorize shoes or sneakers. Place a sheet of Bounce in your shoes or
sneakers overnight.

Golfers put a Bounce sheet in their back pocket to keep the bees away.

Put a Bounce sheet in your sleeping bag and tent before folding and storing
them. Keeps them smelling fresh.

Hope you get the critter and keep the carnage to a minimum.

I didnt see the Bounce sheet in your heater/ac registers, that stuff will freshen up your house quick. :)

Ha ha Great post  . Im gonna go to the store and buy a **** load of bounce. :D
I haved used one or two of those suggestions. When i first joined the service and Had room inspections all the F#$%in time i would use bounce sheets instead of swiffer sheets to use on the floor. Always worked great and never failed a room inspection for a dirty floor. Plus it always smelled good whenever the barracks LPO would come in to inspect. Also you ever pull something out of the dryer and its so staticy still. Just wipe a new dryer sheet onto your skin and blamo problem solved. Thanks for the info

when we lived in ct we had a mouse problem in the 77 corvette. it had been sitting for 6 years...in the garage, under a cover but they decided it would be a good place to hang out. used regular traps with peanut butter and caught like 7 outta there. had some mice in the laundry room here in ga and could not catch them no matter what!! it was rediculous...i guess they left eventually but i gave up on em. guess those southern mice are smarter? ;) oh, good luckwith your situation btw

Just leave a cat in the truck over night with the windows down a bit for air. They work wonders for mice!

No updates and i havent seen it since and no signs of it around.. I think its gone.. I just drove for 2days and he should of came out during that trip..

I say take off and nuke it from space. It's the only way to be sure. :D
