Extra Parts For Off Road Trip

In my opinion, the most important thing you can bring with you is a highlift jack. not only does it make changing a spare much easier with proper jack points or wheel attachments, but it doubles as a slow winch. The handle can be removed to beat off wild animals, and with some serious thought, someone could probably use it to rebuild a carb.

hahaha, a hi-lift and duct tape and fix just about anything.

Since you have a 1st gen a spare tranny might come in handy. ;)

:fire: Been there done that.

Check with local off road clubs. They usually have a list of required equipment that serves as a good starting point. Having good front and rear tow points would be a good idea (required for most off road clubs). A good flashlight and good leather work gloves in addition to the other things already mentioned here. Good luck and good wheelin'!
