92 explorer oil pressure real high and voltage guage jumping like crazy

Is it normal for my oil pressure to go al the way up when I am driving. It started after I had my oil changed. Mt voltage guage jumps like crazy and it goes down when I am driving. the red batery light comes on when it jumps. Please help me. Going on a 1000 mile drive and need to know.

Check your charging system. Oil pressure switch is only on/off.

Yep, you've got charging system issues. Either bad connections or possibly a faulty voltage regulator in your alternator. Take it to Advance Auto, Autozone, etc. and have them run a charging circuit analysis. They usually will do it for free.
