Thanks to many of you it's been a long time since I've needed to be on this forum. Now I have a new problem and need to research it prior to repair on my '94 X, manual 5-speed, 104k miles. I have a thunking noise in front of the transmission when I go over bumps. It sounds like something's come loose and vibrating, and it's very loud. There are no other symptoms. It runs great, there's no braking problem, and no abnormal exhaust noise. I'm hoping it's just a broken bracket, but I'm not usually that luckly. I've read through the forum and it seems the most likely culprit is the radius arm bushing. Am I headed in the right direction?
Thanks, California Lady
