Oil change required

I put mobil 1 synthetic in at 3000 miles and now I'm at 8000 and its saying oil change required. If I hit reset it goes away, but than comes back a few minutes later.

How do I get it to reset permanently. I know it doesn't need an oil change this soon w. synthetic and mobil oil filter.

Any ideas?

Hit setup and go to clear oil change indicator. BTW I also use Mobil 1 but change mine every 5k.

There are instructions on how to reset the indicator, and also how to set the oil change interval to the mileage of your choice, in your owner's manual. Check it out. I've reset my interval as well.
