5.0 little bit of ticking

i was starting it up yesturday and i noticed a ticking. Its got the 5.0 and hoping its not a rode. The weird thing is the ticking goes away for a bit sometimes then comes back. dads having the same problem with his triton 5.4 in expidition. any ideas what it could be.

i have the torque monster headers in you deffintly think its them ? I never thought of that

ooh- didnt know that (maybe mobile web didnt show signature?) possibly- check bolts?

yea i put the torque monsters on myself you maybe right i bet its those i always messing up some thing haha

What gaskets did you use with your TM headers?
If they were the paper style ones its quite possible they are toast

Also headers require a re torque after a few heat cycles, failure to do this can speed up the gaskets failing

I installed copper gaskets on both my trucks with TM headers, couldnt be happier

ok you cuaght me i did use the paper style i going to wait till next week to install new one but i hope it will be ok till then.
