2002 V8 oil pressure???

suddenly the "Check Guage" light has come on, the guage is at 0 pressure. This is intermittent, and now the guage will not come up. Is this a pressure problem or a guage problem.

I would start by checking the oil. Then the sending unit, (it will be close to the oil filter), then the gauge.

the gauges are dumbie units; they only display 2 positions, off and on.

lol this happened to me and a few days later the engine started knocking. turned out my oil pump went out. i'd get it checked out.
