Question about led dash bulbs

I have been reading a lot of threads about doing the led conversion but i still have one question in regards to changing out the 194 bulbs in the instrument cluster. Are you guys using the single bulb design or going with a multibulb design? And if it is a multibulb how many are using per bulb (like 4 or 5 leds per bulb)?

You have to go by the light output, and not just the number of LEDs since they vary with efficiency.

Oops good point Brooklynbay. Also, what is the mcd rating on the bulbs that you are using. I searched but i cant seem to find the answer. I found links in the threads that take you to what people bought on ebay but since the threads are a couple years old the links dont take you anywhere.

Which thread are you referring to? I don't have LED bulbs yet.

This was the best thread i could find about the led conversion. There are also some links to 194 led bulbs but nothing specfic on what people are using.
