what wire makes the altenator charge?

i think its the green one right. i took the dash out so it no longer charges do to no interment cluster

i think you're talking about the regulator wiring. i know one of the wires passes through the cluster/guage. so you will have to find some way of completing the circuit.

I don't know which wire it is, but IIRC, it won't charge if you don't have the charge dash light installed.

DannyBoy made his own dash and ran into that.. Without that connected it wouldn't charge.
