Can't open front storage compartment

In The Front of the Pick up box. been a long time since it's been open. Tried pulling the release handle but no luck .

Any Ideas?

cubby hole/glove box? I'm guessing something is caught. It's quite small, and the owner's manual often gets caught.

It's in the one in front of the bed.

You may have spilled something and the rubber is glued to the door. Something could be blocking the latch, you did not mention if it turns. I would pour hot water along the door and see if that does not unglue it.
