reverse lights

i have 92 xlt 4x4 and everytime i put it reverse that the lights light up like normal but when i shift to drive they stay on...whats up with that???

Is it a 5 speed? If so there is a switch that gets sticky on the side of transmission.

its not,its a 4-speed automatic...

could be the relay getting stuck on.

im still pretty new at this....where can i find the relay????
