i have a 97 mountaineer 5.0 2wd with 187000 miles on it.everything update new battries,belt,steering pump,sparkplugs,all fluid changed,fuel filter,fuel injecter cleaned.cam shaft. my wife was driving the suv in a rainy muddy day with the heater on and it got a engine light on.2 days later rain stop and no heater used. in morning start the suv and the engine light is gone! 2 month later cold day my wife used the heater in the morning while going to work the engine light went on again? 1 day later not useing the heater the engine light went off? but i dont know if the heater cause the light to come on.we used the heater before and light never went on.this is the second time in 2 month engine lights went on anyone knows what causeing the engine light to go on and off? thanks:exp:
