Hey everybody I am sure, as with a lot of you, I came to this site because they had a problem and needed an answer. Well I did have a problem and some of what I read here "at this site" led to the answer. Thanks to everybody who wrote on bleeding a clutch. I tried everything that was suggested and more. I ended up removing the clutch master cylinder and the clutch hose together. Mounting the master cylinder in a vise with the push rod facing down and ran the hose to a glass jar full of break fluid. A bolt in the bottom of the jar, to depress the check valve, while the end of the hose was underneath the break fluid. I got to see the bubbles and after about three long slow pumps I was good to go.
