Not true, the code IS located on the SJB,

2007, mecury mountaineer, ford explorer, door keyless entry code is located on the fuse panel under driver side dashboard, it is called SJB smart junction box, it is a 5 digit code printed about 1 inch from the bottom of the fuse block, you can not see the number off hand because it faces the metal frame of the car. stick your cell phone between the car and the fuse panel and start taking pictures! here is a picture.

I have looked and seen the specific spot you are referring to. The side you cant see on that black fuse box looking thing...its not on mine, i used mirror and camera its not on mine

2010 expedition keyless entry location

for you 2010 expedition 5 digit keyless entry code location. It is located on the (SJB) smart junction box, Passanger side fuse box, remove the plastic panals and look on the rear of the fuse box you will see a sticker with the code.

I agree that will work, but you might not get the factory number so that you can program the SJB with you own private code

Finally a proven free way to retrieve the code. Literally took me 10 minutes to get my code. I skipped around on the numbers. Just make sure you keep track of every 7th code you enter.

Thanks for this. I tried to look for the code on the side of the fuse block and it was to tight to get even my iphone in there to take a pic. We have an 06 EB 4x4 V-8 if it matters at all....

I have started the list but have a question. If I go 5 #s and then onto the next set of 5 I end up with 4 numbers at the end on each line. Why? What do I do with those? Enter them as normal but only the 4? That's what I have been doing anyway. I am about 1/4 through in about 20 min and nothing yet. At the end of each line I unlocked then locked again to clear the cache.

Got it. You were right, my wife had a really thin compact and I was able to see it.

Ready for this?...I was using the numbers chart method last night and stopped when it was to cold outside. Tried the mirror this morning and found out I stopped with the chart 9 sets of #s away from the factory code.....:

For those that don't have this, just use this code list I created...and unlock and lock the doors after each line. It really doesn't take that long, mine was about 2/3's down the list...may have taken 20 minutes. Worth the effort vs. taking it to the dealership.

I have a background in math and statistics, and this approach is ingenious in the way it merges possible combinations to keep the number of entries required to break the code to a minimum. I am not able to find the RAP for tracing the sticker which has keyless access code on the second row of the passanger seat behind the cover holding the seat belt. Can some one guide me to find where it is actually located in 2008 model.

The code does not exist on any equipment. Im trying to save you the trouble, b/c if checked them all. Gonna have to either pay up to get the diagnostic results w/ the code, or try the code sequence above. Those are really the only 2 ways

I have owned an Explorer Sport since 96.I loved it.
Thought it was time for a change,so I sold it and bought a 2006 Eddie Bauer V6.
The owner did not have the owners card or owners manual and never used the keyless entry.Now without the factory preset code.I can"t use it either.
Does anyone know where the module for the keyless system is located on this 06? I remember that it was located in the rear quarter panel on my 96 not no luck on this one.

It's under drivers side dashboard..left side looking at it..you have to get down in the floor board to find it with a flash light. Took me a minute!
