SMORR is having a fundraiser for Joplin residents the weekend of June 17th. The Salvation Army will be on hand to accept Money and goods on Sat the 18th of June.

FOUR-WHEELING FUNDRAISER FOR JOPLIN
Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch Raises Funds for Joplin Relief Efforts

Springfield, MO (June 10, 2011) – Four-wheeling & off-road enthusiasts are invited to help raise funds for the Joplin community. On June 17th – 19th Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch, or SMORR, will donate half of its total admission sales to The Salvation Army’s Joplin relief efforts. Activities will include a 4x4 ball & barrel racing game, a 50 foot drag race, and a racing course in the woods.
SMORR is located five miles south of Seymour on 943 acres in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. In addition to trails & obstacle courses, there are 43 camp sites for RVs and unlimited primitive camping spots. All four-wheel drive vehicles are welcome to participate except for please no dirt bikes & sport quad ATVs. Spectators and those without a vehicle are also welcome to attend by purchasing a $5 spectator day pass.
