Coolant? pooling on top of the motor below the plenum(4.0L)

I have a 2005 4.0L with 133,x.. miles on it and everything on it runs likes a clock until last night I came to a stop with the windows down and noticed the bitter smell of coolant. Long story short I find a pool of fluid sitting on top of the motor underneath where the plenum crosses over. I managed to get a syringe in there to get a sample so i can show what the fluid looks like, as well as a few pictures below of where this stuff is pooling......

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

taking a stab in the dark but how does the water pump sound? could be leaking.

if its on top of the thermostat housing its probably the o ring for the housing itself...i changed mine twice already and my ex has 109k on it
