Timing chain.

hello! im new on this site i found it very interesting. I m working on my 2001 ford ranger 4.0 engine looks like the timing chain on the back was damages anybody can show me an image of that timing chain. Thanks a lot more power.

now I pulled out the engine of my 2001 ford ranger I'm waiting for the rear timing chain to arrive. I notice that the upper part is tight looks like its hard to change the chain. Anybody can show me how to put the new timing chain. thanks a lot

Did you do a compression test? You may also have bent valves.

sorry i have problem downloading my pictures. i really need help this time. I put the engine back after replcing the timing chain in the back. my problem is that i think the timing is not right. please anybody can show or teach me how to time mycar. it is advisable to change the tensioner since it got already 105,000 miles?
