Overhead compass troubles

My overhead temp. and compass is blank. The fuse is good, so trying to figure out how to remove it so can check the inside. Can anyone help?

On my 96, there are two screws above the garage door opener. Remove screws, pulldown on plastic.

I don't have opener, so where would the screws be? can't see any !!

Overhead Compass

Ford 1999 - Mine did the same thing a few years ago.
Somehow it got into a strange mode, and all it took was to press the mode button a few times, and it came back to life. It's been fine ever since.
I assume you already did this, but if not, give it a try.

I followed the guide here and got mine working again. Took about an hour.
