Installed axle with 4" skyjacker springs, and dropped the old axle on my hand in the process, still need to install axles and the pumpkin. Did a soa swap in the rear with an axle with disc brakes. Putting 33s on it sunday and will get some pics. Still need to regear the rear and put an aussie locker in it.

Any tips with installing the pumpkin without removing driver radius arms?

What are your plans for the truck? i got a 94 and i'm doin a v8 swap right now. gettin the motor today :D

Well for now im just going to be getting some body armor;) But been thinking about maybe swapping in a 5 cylinder mercedes turbo diesel. Totally mechanical and all that is really needed is a crankshaft and bellhouse adapter and motor mounts:D

that would be awesome! original too. :)

not alot of navajos around where i live, but i like how yours looks so far, keep building haha

Got some 33s mounted the other day, for some reason the front is a bit wider than the rear maybe the knuckle swap?

Very nice looking rig. That suspension set up can handle some abuse. I ran the same set up on my Ranger.
I miss that ranger more than my 1970 Bronco.

WOW
that TTB fab is insane! go tear stuff up!

I've always liked the look of the Navajo's. The front end is a lot cleaner looking than the Explorers. There aren't too many around. I had to drive 2 hours to find a junkyard with body parts for a Navajo.

Wow that's a smooth looking setup. Can't wait to see some action shots!

Thanks guys, yeah put a bit too much money into, but for the record I don't have those ori dp3 struts on mine, just 4" skyjacker springs lol

Nice! i like it

Ok I cant decide which gearing I should get I have 3.73 in the rear and I have a front 4.10 diff with an arb locker that I haven't installed yet. It would be alot cheaper for me just to get a used front 3.73 and just put an aussie in the back instead of regearing and selling the front diff. Right now I have it on 33s and I like how its driving right now and I just calculated my mpg and I got 17mpg with 33 inch bfg mud tires. Advice?

And another odd thing is when I bought the car it came with 235/75/15 but my door says the stock size is 225/70/15, and to today I passed one of those roadside speed indicators and my speedo was almost right on?? I haven't changed my speedo gear or anything.

I would install your 4.10 locked front, and go pick up a 2nd gen 4.10 axle from a junkyard. Not only will you pick up the 4.10 gears, you can upgrade to disk brakes in the back.

haha I already installed a 2nd gen axle its just 3.73

haha I already installed a 2nd gen axle its just 3.73

Ah, what about just picking up the gearing for the 4.10?

You will probably like the 4.10s better than 3.73s. I have 4.10s stock and run 32s now, glad I don't have a higher gear ratio.

I could do that but I dont trust myself to install gears lol and the cheapest I can find to do a single axle regear/rebuild is $340 labor +$300 locker+$200gears+ $100 rebuild kit+$200 arb compressor vs. selling arb, $50 for used diff and $300 aussie locker

save the money and do the 4.10s with a locker.. i went from 3.73 limited slip to 4.56 with a detroit running 33 inch swamper tsl tires and i love it.. also it actually helped my mpg and 5 speed trans out a lil bit since i am getting to crusing speed faster ... i dunno how i even drove it with those old gears but its worth every penny in my book :)
