fuel mileage with 31's

alright ive got the 265 75 16 with a tt and shackles on my 03 sport. it also has 3.73 gears. i sometimes dont even get 200 out of a tank. what are yall getting? tank size is 16 or 17 i believe

Those tires are 32's, the combo of 373 gears and 32" tall tires is what's killing you. I'd either get some 265/70/16's at max or get 4.10 gears installed to have a fighting chance with mileage. You're also putting alot of strain on the drivetrain because you're constantly 500-700 rpm higher then what you should be turning with the speedo off, your not getting an accurate odometer reading either.

I'm at about 80k miles and about to do a tune up. Just because you have an auto trans it shouldn't kill your gas mileage that bad. Maybe its time for a tuneup if one hasn't been done so far. Also, I get about 350 miles on a tank if I'm driving long distance and I'm driving highway only. I try to keep it between 65 and 70mph.
