Hi guys, I am looking to install a single din in my 1999 Explorer Limited. I would like to be able to play my ipod, while also being able to control the volume from the steering wheel. It would be awesome if the headunit will connect to the 6 Cd changer as well.

Do you know which Alpine headunits do that and sound good?

I'm currently looking at an ida-x303 which seems to be able to do all that. Any help is appreciated. THanks!

Careful with the CDA-117. The scrolling feature with USB SUCKS!!!!!!
CD player has died within 6 months
The only thing good about this unit is clean power, high volt pre outs, expandability.
I had a Pioneer DEH-4100UB and it absolutily ROCKED

I ended up getting an alpine ida-x303. It was a good deal for 120. Couldn't pass it up. Like it so far :)

I bought one of the last Alpine 9887s. Its a great SQ deck. I'm using its crossover to run a 3 way system. I will try the time delay next. I need to order a cord for a ipod also. It works great & is as clean sounding as any HU I ever owned. I ran Eclipse unis without a internal amp for years. This Alpine is cleaner than my last Eclipse HU.
