I'm having problem with my 4 door 2001 explorer xlt. My driver side window controls work and I can roll all the windows up and down, however none of the passenger window controls work. Sometimes they will work but go on and off. I don't know if it is the window lock contact that is busted, if it is is there anyway to bypass it?

I had the same exact issue.
1. Take off driver side door pannel
2. Disconnect all wires to the window and door lock controls
3. Take the control panel out of the door frame( 3-4 screws )
4. open the control panel ( 6 Clips on the sides )
5. Inside there should be a copper contact plate

Simply scratch the corrosion off the contact plate most of it will be on the window lock section. After you have cleaned it up re assemble and it will work.
