stock radio

I have a 2000 explorer Eddie Bauer with the stock tape/ cd player in it and everything on the radio work except for the screen is blank like its not working is there a fix for that apart from replacing it

Save that stock Pioneer radio(it has an RDS button), those are excellent radios. Have the display board changed, and it shouldn't go out again.

The only solder joint that I noticed being broken we the two up front that hold the little shield around it would that cause my problem
