Well done, Klaus!

Sweet Klaus, looks very nice.

Klaus
Did it require any modification to affix the European sized license plate?

Regards

Let´s put it that way:
The rear plate fits without any issues, because there is enough space for it left in the rear door.
The front plate holder needed to removed and replaced by a german one.
Was easily manageable and done in 10 minutes. No need to drill new wholes.

Nice clean looking setup

Klaus, what's on the painted portion of the front bumper cover, just in front of the front tire? Are those side markers? Hard to tell in the photo with the red-on-red. Were they factory, or an add-on?

Nevermind. I just noticed it's a Limited, so now I'm guessing it's the proximity sensors.

Klaus, dont you have to have autolevelling/dynamic system for HID headlamps? Some of the guys that have brought over the Ford Flex to Germany have had to change their HID's back to halogen because they didnt have any way to make the headlamps auto adjust.

what sort of high pressure headlamp washer did you use? I didnt see them on the picture you posted.

@Stevegud1: yes they are the proximity sensors for automatic parking.

@foofighter: german authorities require the autoleveling for the HID lamps. Hella is offering a aftermarket system which is installed in my Explorer.
What sort of washer? No idea honestly. They were already installed when I picked it up.
I bought the car from a import dealer in germany. He did all the required modifications like headlamp washer, autoleveling system, fog backlight as well as a modified trailer hitch to fit german trailer.

Where did you get the shark fin antenna? I want to get one!

that is AWESOME that Hella offers an autolevelling system, wonder if we can get it over here :)

I notice the euro hitch was put on...have to link a member on the Flex forum that's looking to do the same.
