anyone know wtf is going on? only in drive or reverse. itll do it for awhile then just stop. at a light/stopped only. using a digital gauge it does the same thing, although cause it bounces so much it was hard me me to read the numbers it bounces from exactly. but its still 13-14v.

in drive with my foot on the brake in front of my house the whole time

Could be a loose connection but more likely a failing voltage regulator or diode. Can you see the swings on a VOM connected to the battery? If so, alt/reg.

I had to replace my alternator when it was doing that. If wires arent loose probly alt. I got mine from o'reilly's. I havent had any problems since.

mine tested good but it stopped bouncing as soon as I replaced it. I'm guessing the voltage regulator. It was working ok I think but something had to be wrong. Good luck with it. It cost more to replace the regulator than the alternator, figure that one out...
