Of all the threads I've seen on here regarding brakes, they all refer to pad or rotor recomendations or upgrades, and slotted-drilled, etc...

I am going to do a pad change this week end and will probably do a fluid change too.

While doing that I would like to upgrade to a stainless steel brake line but cannot find any for the 2001 Ex.

Does anyone manufacture a SS brake line kit for the Ex?

Is there any others that will fit, like from an f-150 or expidition?

Has anyone here retrofitted them on there Explorer?

I mistakenly posted this in "Stock" but this would be a "Mod", no?

As usual...Thanks in advance for all comments, questions or derogatory remarks.

Bump for an answer! I've always wondered this myself.

I've heard f-series superduty lines will work if you get stock lengths but I don't remember the year. As well as jeep wrangler lines but lat I check they don't make stock length for those. I'm sure there are others.

Goto a hydrolic hose shop... they will make up any brake line you need

Classic tube does make braided stainless for the tube to caliper hoses, and they're DOT approved. They can even make them to custom lengths. As far as replacement hard lines, you'll probably need to get those made yourself of by a shop.
