hi i just bought a kenwood amp Kac-8105D Class D Mono and a Kenwood Sub Kenwood KFC-W2513PS. are these any good? i got them cheap threw a good friend of mine. also gave me a Kicker ZCK8 (09ZCK8) power kit for the amp. links are below. ive never had an amp and sub before so i have no idea what is decent and what isnt, all i know is that kenwood was a decent brand name. these are all hooking into an Alpine CDE-124SXM2 head unit.thanks in advance for any info.

"good" is a very subjective word in the world of car audio, and it always really depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

If you are looking to add some low end to your current set up, then that sub and amp will be perfect for what you want.

Kenwood is a solid name brand with a decent reputation.

i should of put what i wanted when i made this, sry lol. anyway i listen to alot of rock music very little rap or hip hop but i wanted to give my rock music a little more kick.

If your just looking for a little more kick, than I think you will be happy with it

good to hear, cant wait to install them. thanks

For a basic addition, you should be satisfied. You won't be blown away with bass though being it's only rated at 300wrms. I have known friends with previous models of that subwoofer and it was a decent sub. Nothing special nor nothing bad. just average. I typically find Kenwood headunits are spot on, amps are pretty good, but I personally wouldn't run any of their subwoofers. All in all, you should be satisfied if you only want it to add a low-end to your audio.

yea i dont want much just a little ive got an alpine deck right now sounds good but i do wanna upgrade to a double din with nav soon enough.

lol wel i said i had an alpine i really didnt need to i guess i forgot that i posted a link at the start of this of my head unit.

Not to sound rude but the reason why Crutchfield is called crutchfield is because you need crutches after you see the prices. Check Soniceletronix.com for those units, for cheaper ;) Just trying to help a fellow Efer out ;)

Honestly I use amazon most of the time. You may lose a warranty, but the first CF lists item as discontinued and priced at $199.99 (as well as new model). Looked up the same model number on amazon NIB for $119. Sure, you won't get a warranty through CF or SE but you save $80 bucks. Also, FordExplorer2002, I know you already had a headunit, I was just stating my experience with kenwood. They only products I personally would buy off them are their decks maybe their amps as well/
