1971 Bronco W/98 EXP 5.0
I purchased a complete motor from a 1997 Explorer 5.0 to install into my classic bronco. My bronco fuel gauage is a 10 ohms full 70 ohms empty gauage. I got the entire intank fuel pump and sending unit from the original 1997 explorer 5.0.

Does anyone know if the stock explorer 5.0 sending unit ohms matches my early bronco or is it different ohms?If so, what do I need to do to make this swap work?

Thanks

Sorry, I don't recall where I found it. I Googled 1997 Ford Explorer fuel sending unit ohms and did a little digging. It didn't take long to find that info.

also found this spec for 1997 Ford Explorer fuel pump/sender assembly, so I don't know which info is right... but they're pretty close.

15-160 Ohms resistance
