I have some issue with my steering wheel.

The upper part of the steering wheel (in the cab) has play in it. I can grab the wheel and move it up and down and a little side to side. Its not the whole column, JUST the wheel.

I can feel resistance, like something is broken IN SIDE the steering wheel. It doesn't really affect the driving of my Explorer, but its almost like a bearing has gone bad. (Probably from me beating on my steering wheel, hulk smashing it... don't ask) It feels like crunching plastic, and often hear squeaking.

Can you guys possibly help me find a walk through guide on how to fix this issue? I leave for GA on friday and I gotta get this done.

This is what I think might be broken?
