2000 Sport Muffler

Hi All,

I know that if I searched long enough, I could probably find the answer I need but I really don't have that kind of time to be on the computer.

My wife has a 2000 Sport and the truck needs exhaust work. I want to do the entire cat-back. I've got a fantastic mechanic that can bend all the pipe we need but I want to buy the muffler.

We want it to growl but we are going to have kids in the car so it can't be overwhelming.

Any suggestions?

I have a 40 series flowmaster on mine.

I personally was disappointed with how quiet it is. It rumbles a bit on the outside, but it's very quiet on the inside.

Back in March, I put a Dynomax Superturbo cat-back on my '99 XLT. It sounds SO sweet. I'll check out the Flowmaster. Thanks!

FYI, in case you aren't familiar with the 40 series flowmaster, they are not know for being quiet , hence my disappointment.
