2000 Ford Explorer SPARK PLUGS?

i need to replace the spark plugs and wires on my ford explorer 2000, XLS

I bought NGK GP PLATINUM on autozone since autozone said they matched my vehicle. ( not yet installed )

But I am hearing that NGK are not recommended, and that I should go with motorcraft instead... is this really an issue? Any advice would be great.

What could I expect an honest shop to charge me to replace these for labor? ( Assuming I don't allow my friend to do it for me )

I run NGK in my explorer as well as all my other vehicles, and have never had a problem
