So it has been a year since I have updated and I figured I might as well update so people know whats going on.
The truck is currently in the paint booth getting repainted and hopefully should get it back next week. I have also changed the wheels on the truck as well. That's just about it. Added another set of Crescendo CZ components to the rear doors, installed a Rockford PBR300.4 to run the doors and tweeters, installed 40 sq. ft of MurdereMat sound deadner between all the doors and hatch, installed a Singer 180a amp, and did some wrapping of the interior in silver suede.
Here's just some pictures:
New wheels(still 20s)...
Some of the progress pictures of the paint process...
Had my painter remove the nutserts for the roof rack and weld those holes up for a smooth roof.
Painter actually changed the silver up on me. When to the new Ford Moondust Silver Metallic. Its a brighter, smoother silver than the original silver.
Taped off and ready for the grey:
Door jams getting done:
Blue stripe down...
And the green pinstripe down w/ clear:
Also took the time to swap over to the 4th gen tail lights and had them painted to match. By far my favorite part of this process so far. Ordered LEDs bulbs for each socket as well.
Little taste of the suede:
I think thats about it. Did get some interior pieces painted as well, but don't have any pictures of them so I will wait until I get everything back and installed. Also did buy gauges for the pillar pods I built. Ordered a voltmeter and a oil pressure gauge from ProSport Gauges. Here is a little teaser of how they work:
