Power mirror help appreciated

My Son bought a 2003 Explorer XLT and I'm working on things that need to be
replaced. The drivers side mirror( glass part is broken and needs to be fixed).

Would it be easier and cheaper to A) get a new piece of glass B) Get a new
glass with plastic mount, or C)a whole new aftermarket or junkyard mirror assembly and just replace.

Any help would be appreciated... I am able to do simple repairs/ diagnostics, but it takes some time. Thanks for any help/ suggestions.

I found a replacement drivers side mirror for my 02 Explorer Limited on Amazon.com for $25.

Thanks for the suggestion! I took the mirror off the vehicle and tried to pry off the plastic
piece with the 2 "ball and socket" joint like structures and ended breaking the piece.!

So much for replacing just the glass or putting another plastic piece on... Option C goes into effect. Ordered a replacement mirror assembly for $28.63... Hope it matches!!!

Mine matched perfectly. Can't tell the difference between the drivers and passenger sides. There wasn't an option for me to replace just the glass. Neighbor kid was an idiot and hit it with a baseball bat.
