Sync navigation is terrible...

Just ran back from a 1600km road trip, Sync have proved itself to be failed for at least 2 time completely (black screen, restart) and navigation turn out to be useless as well, so hard to input and off route all the time, have to turn it off manually so it wont beep all the time...

I am running the latest Gen2 - V3.7.11, do you guys know if there is anything patch, upgrade i can get for current version? When I poke around the sync it said there is some patch I could install, but need to put the file in the root directory. Login in great official sync account and found nothing...

Go to a dealer or someone with Ford IDS and have them check for calibration updates to all the computer modules in your vehicle including the GPSM.
