This past summer I replaced both front axles. A couple of months ago I noticed that the passenger side axle had tanked again.. Replaced it under warranty. Now, only about 6000 miles later... That passenger side axle is shot again. Anyone know something that I don't.. Or am I just getting crappy axles?

Any thoughts on the subject are greatly appreciated.

It is possible that you are getting bad axles, especially if they are reman units. How are they failing? Is the outer joint failing?

Definitely not remans. I always try to buy new whenever I can. Twice now it was the inner joint, and this last time it was both of them.

By chance, do you have a lift, torque twist, etc.? That increased angle can be pretty tough on joints.

The outers usually go long before the inners. Is there much loose play in the bearings with the shafts plugged in?

I turned up the torsion bars on the stock keys. I wouldn't think that'd be too much angle for the axles.. Would it?

Well... it looks like it is too much.
