If I switch my 2000 Explorer to Low Range 4WD, then switch the gearbox to Park and turn the engine off, is my Explorer still in 4WD mode or not?

Doese the supporting of 4WD need some hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical power to stay on, or once engaged it will stay on (without need of powersupply) until disengaged?

No.

The transfer case is switched with an electric motor. Once you select 4 low, the transfer case will remain in 4 low until another signal to return to 2 high is provided.

So yes, it will remain in 4 low until you select 2 high with the switch.

Low range is mechanical but 4WD uses an electromagnetic clutch. If the engine is off, you will remain in low range but not 4WD.
