I was wondering if anyone had ever experimented with pocket style fender flares on a 3rd gen. I've seen a few pictures of it done and I really like the look. I'm running 285/75/16's right now at stock height and sometimes they really throw stuff around. Plus I'm getting some nasty rust developing on one of the wheel wells. My plan was to cut it out, treat the area, and cover it with some nice flares. It doesn't seem like it would be all that difficult to buy some flares that are the right shape and size and just very carefully cut them so that a small piece stays on the rear doors and allows them to open correctly. Im going to hit the local off-road shop tomorrow to see what their input is, but if anyone has tried something like this before, maybe you could point me in the right direction. Thanks!
