blower motor?

I have a 2005 mountaineer, blower motor only work on #4 , HIGH, I replaced the resistor and control knob, still only works on high, it actually blew on high only without the resistor installed!! Is it the blower motor or something else?

Make sure that when your resistor blew it didnt take the fuse with it (I don't know which one) I know that when it blows on 4 only its bypassing the switch. I've been looking for answers regarding my digital temp control for a while. Make sure your new resistor is good also. Im assuming you have the analog switch (3 knobs and not the digital thing)

I will check the fuses, I did not think the blower was bad if it could blow on 4 and yes I have the three knob controls
